If you’re planning on taking dear ol’ dad out for a special meal this Sunday for Father’s Day, here’s how you can save some money.

Several area metro restaurants are offering free or discounted meals just for dads special day.

Area Andiamo locations are offering free entrees. If you take dad to the movies at Emagine Theaters, he can score some free popcorn. And if it’s dessert you’re after, area TCBY locations are dishing out free frozen yogurt.

Here are a few of the deals offered only on Father’s Day, June 16:

Andiamo Restaurants: Dads receive a free entrée with the purchase of another entrée of equal or greater value. You’ll need to print out a voucher at www.andiamoitalia.com. The offer has a maximum $25 value and valid for dine-in only. It’s available at all locations except the Andiamo at Detroit Metropolitan Airport and Joe Vicari’s Steakhouse in Las Vegas.

Jet’s Pizza: Dads receive a special deal for a small, All Meaty pizza. Using the code DAD, you can get the pizza for $7.99. The regular price is $14. It’s available all day for in-store and online for pickup or delivery. For locations or ordering, go to www.jetspizza.com.
